“ILAMPIRAI – A BULLETZ FOUNDATION” - WHITEPAPER (Ver. 1.1)
ILAMPIRAI is a social welfare trust started by a friends group called BULLETZ on 27th May of 2010 for the uplift and growth of poor and orphaned children in terms of living and education.
AIM AND MOTTO:
Our main aim is to identify children from NGOs (Non-Government Organization) / Ashrams / schools in need of help and support them by identifying donators who are ready to help. To make it clear, we serve as a bridge to connect the people in need and people who are ready to help the people in need.
Spending or collecting money is something which can be done easily. The main motto of ILAMPIRAI is to spend time which is comparatively tougher. Identifying, Spending money, Getting help and most importantly Sharing Time fulfils the cause and completes the task.
Donations to NGOs are not made in monetary terms. Their needs are identified and fulfilled in terms of assets.
ILAMPIRAI as transparent system, share monthly newsletters in our official website (to be developed shortly) with revenue and expense of the trust in detail which includes the scanned copies of the bills and vouchers.
REGISTRATION:
ILAMPIRAI will be registered as an independent NGO / Trust after completing all legal entities in exactly one month time from now.
Tax Reduction facility under Section 80C will be included enabling the donation made through ILAMPIRAI to be used for the Tax Exemptions.
MEMBERS:
Members of ILAMPIRAI are divided into three layers based on their mode of contribution and involvement towards growth of the trust which in turn, routes for the growth of poor children.
1st Layer:
These are primary members of the trust who donate a min. amount of Rs.500 or more to the trust every month and involve in each and every activity of the trust, which includes visiting NGOs, collecting donations from other donator and spreading information about the trust.
Primary role of the Members in 1st layer is to identify poor children in schools / NGOs / Ashrams etc who are in need of help and spending time for their growth whenever required.
Please note that minimum amount is made mandatory as the 1st layer will be the foundation of ILAMPIRAI and so there should be a constant balance maintained in the trust, which will be useful even under tough conditions where there is no donation from others.
Those who are really interested in making some differences in our younger generation are welcomed to be close to us in first layer.
2nd Layer:
These are secondary members of the trust who donate a minimum amount to the trust every month and who are tentative in attending regular visits and meetings.
3rd Layer:
These are other donators in touch with ILAMPIRAI who donate money regularly on their interest.
Volunteers:
These are other friends who join us and help during NGO / Homes / Ashram visits.
(P.S - Swapping of layers is possible at anytime by respective wish)
PLANS AND IDEAS:
“Gift a Donation “Concept:
This is an official plan of ILAMPIRAI to spread awareness among people for gifting donations on occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations etc. This gives fulfillment to the person sending the gift and also to the person who is receiving the gift.
Collection boxes:
Donation collection boxes can be kept in Shops, Hotels, Restaurants etc and weekly collection can be made.
Material Collection:
Collecting materials which may be useless to us but a dream to many like Clothes, Shoes, Slippers, Toys, Story Books etc.
Higher Education:
Identifying students with good marks, interested in higher studies and helping them in paying fees.
FIRST SUCCESSFUL PROJECT:
ILAMPIRAI’s first successful project was ‘Time for School – Bodi” through which 200 notebooks were given to Panchayat Union School, Sillamarathupatti, Theni District and 25 School Bags, 50 pencils, Erasers and 10 Rulers were given to 1st Ward Government Primary School, Bodi, Theni District on June 01, 2010 through the trust members for a total amount of Rs.6100 .
UPCOMING PROJECTS:
- Offering basic, essential utilities to “Home for Tribal Children” in Bodi, Theni District.
- Helping a girl student who scored 1147 out of 1200 in plus 2 public examinations for her higher education.
Any such kind of projects identified and proposed by the members will be discussed and budget will be funded accordingly.

As a temporary arrangement, a blog http://www.ilampirai.blogspot.com/ has been launched to carry forward necessary information.
The website also includes the list of donators and their contribution to the trust. Please be informed that this official information will be available only to the donators who are registered with us. Other viewers can see information about the list of NGOs we are supporting and the good work done by ILAMPIRAI for their improvement.
SPREADING ILAMPIRAI?
- Getting in touch with people who are already involved in such kinds of activities or who are interested in these kinds of activities thereby increasing the count of 1st and 2nd Layer members.
- Getting in touch with Christian Organizations, Lions Clubs etc.
- Making documentary movies of the places visited by our crew. These films will help us in presentations and will reach people very easily rather than written documents.
- Taking help from Bloggers and other Social community networks
